Raised with 20% whole bunches, the 2022 Echézeaux Grand Cru showed a little reduction on the nose, but there seems to be plenty of concentration here. The medium-bodied palate offers ripe black fruit laced with orange rind and veins of dark chocolate, probably emanating from the 50% new oak. It's a solid Echézeaux that might lack a bit of flair, though it will mature well in bottle.
