The 2021 Etna Bianco Sul Vulcano is intense, smoldering up with a blend of flinty crushed stones, sweet mint, apricots and hints of sage. This is soft and round with brisk acidity and mineral-laced orchard fruits that cascade across the palate, taking on a suggestion of sour citrus toward the close. The Sul Vulcano is a fantastic option for entry-level Etna Bianco, and having tasted the 2016 alongside, I can attest that this will mature beautifully.
