Aramasa is where tradition, terroir, and modern design meet — vibrant, precise, and distinctly Akita.
A refreshing sourness and light sweetness, with notes of melon, lychee, honey, and grapefruit. It has a very well-defined, vibrant, and expressive palate. Expect fruit-forward aromas, particularly of honeydew melon and muscat grapes. The sake is light-bodied, yet rich in umami, with an exceptionally transparent and smooth texture. It offers a sharp, clean, and refreshing finish with light, soft bitterness.
It is produced using the labor-intensive Kimoto method, which involves naturally cultivated yeast and no added lactic acid, resulting in a natural and complex sake. It is also unpasteurized (Namazake) to preserve fresh flavors and bottled undiluted (Genshu).
