Moderately firm reduction overshadows the fruit today though not the wood treatment. Otherwise, the middleweight flavors aren't as concentrated though they possess a finer texture that carries over to the nicely detailed and equally well-balanced finale where the wood telegraphed by the nose resurfaces. This could use better depth so a few years of cellaring should be helpful.
