The 2021 Barbaresco Currà is dark, beguiling and super-expressive. Scorched earth, spice, menthol, licorice and graphite meld into a black cherry and plum fruit core. The tannins are pretty incisive, yet there is plenty of fruit to match. This is a stellar showing from Bruno Rocca.
