Darkly floral and intense, the 2021 Etna Rosso Fragore smolders up with an array of crushed stones and mentholated herbs, giving way to dried black cherries and exotic spices. This is silken and refined with depths of tart red fruits carried across a wave of zesty acidity as fine-grained tannins slowly saturate toward the close. Grippy and long, the 2021 finishes with ample structure. Patience will be required.
