A good value option, the unoaked Donnafugata 2023 Sicilia Nero d'Avola Sherazade draws its fruit from Contessa Entellina in the western part of the island with breezy hillsides and clay soils. The bouquet is true to the grape with blackcurrant, green olives with chili flakes, cola and a fragrant hint of wild fennel. The wine ends with good freshness and a medium-plus texture. This is an ample release of 210,000 bottles.
