Ghislaine Barthod, Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Cras 2020 750ML

This was the only wine in the range that displayed more than a smidgeon of reduction though it's enough to suppress the underlying fruit. As is usually the case, there is more size, weight and muscle if not necessarily more minerality to the medium-bodied flavors that display focused power on the austere, compact and wonderfully long finish. This too is going to require extended patience and I doubt that it's going to make for especially interesting drinking before 10 years have passed.
