Grenache sourced from vines in the Krondorf subregion with an average age of 80 years old. Red and dark plum fruits flow forth here, with plenty of spice backing, a light sheath of red floral notes and a waft of ginger cake. There is abundant, pithy tannin this year, drawing the fruit into line. The acidity propels the wine across the palate nicely. Savoury and toothsome but not without grace.
