The 2022 Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru, to be bottled in a few months’ time, has an attractive nose with lemon verbena, crushed stone, pressed flowers and light candle wax aromas. The palate is well balanced, with a subtle oily texture on the entry, impressive depth and focus and a keen line of acidity, revealing just a hint of chamomile on the finish. Lovely.
