The 2022 vintage marks the estate’s first officially certified organic release.
The 2023 Pieuchaud Silex's nose offers a flinty, smoky edge with a hint of orchard fruit. The midpalate is tender and approachable before tightening up with a sinewy frame. The flint soils bring structure and tension, while the acidity is more gentle. This is shaped by its terroir, with no filtration across the range. It fermented with natural yeast and aged two-thirds in oak vats and one-third in old demi-muids.
