Aromas of pear, citrus oil, warm bread, pastry cream and peach introduce the 2020 Savigny-lès-Beaune Blanc, a medium to full-bodied, ample and enveloping wine that's bright and fleshy, with a satiny attack and a saline finish. It derives from two parcels: one by the river, the other in between Vergelesses and Guettes.
Note on Packaging: Domaine Simon Bize is currently transitioning to a more sustainable, 'Bize-dynamic' packaging standard. Depending on the vintage, you may receive a bottle with a traditional foil capsule or a 'naked' cork. Both represent the estate's high standards, with the newer, capsule-free look reflecting their commitment to zero-waste winemaking.
