The 2019 Calados del Puntido is 100% Tempranillo sourced from a vineyard planted in 1976 in Páganos, Rioja Alavesa. Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, this wine offers notes of herbs, balsamic and ripe black/red fruit, complemented by iodine and hints of blood. Dry, compact and fairly reactive due to its tannins, this juicy wine lingers on the fruit notes.
